Pam Sartory Jupiter, FL, Obituary, Death: It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and board member, Pam Sartory, who left us on May 3, 2025. Pam was not only a cherished part of the Resource Depot family, but also a guiding light whose legacy will forever be etched in the heart of our organization.
For 15 years, Pam poured her energy, time, and talent into Resource Depot. She was more than a volunteer or leader—she was a driving force, an inspiration, and a steadfast supporter of our mission to promote creative reuse and sustainability in our community. Pam embodied the very spirit of service and leadership, and her contributions touched every corner of our organization.
Pam’s presence was felt at every level—from hands-on volunteering at community events to chairing major committees and guiding the direction of our board. Her leadership wasn’t performative; it was personal. She showed up consistently, gave generously, and believed deeply in the value of our work. Her commitment was unwavering, and her passion infectious.
Throughout her time with Resource Depot, Pam served in a number of key leadership roles. She brought wisdom, professionalism, and a steady hand to the Executive Committee over the span of 13 years. Her service included roles as Treasurer (2011–2013), Secretary (2014), Vice Chair (2015), Chair (2016–2017), Past President (2018–2019), and most recently, Vice President (2022–2025). In each of these positions, she provided thoughtful leadership, strategic insight, and a deep well of care for both the organization and its people.
Pam’s influence extended far beyond boardrooms and committee meetings. She was known for her warmth, her sense of humor, and her genuine concern for others. Whether mentoring new board members, cheering on staff, or rolling up her sleeves to sort supplies and materials, Pam led by example—with grace and humility.
Her legacy is not only in the policies she helped shape or the events she helped orchestrate, but in the spirit of service and community she so beautifully embodied. Thanks to Pam’s vision and dedication, Resource Depot has grown stronger, more resilient, and more deeply rooted in the values she held dear.
As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life—a life that made a profound difference. Pam’s tireless dedication and steady leadership will be deeply missed, but her impact will live on through the work we continue to do in her honor.
